Join Hands Christmas Names for Children
Millerstown Moose Riders have taken on "Join Hands Network" program to provide gifts to children for Christmas.
This is a little background information about "Join Hands".
Hands is provided as a contact and support center for persons living in Perry County who are seeking assistance with daily living
concerns. Referrals are accepted from all sources (churches,
agencies, individuals, etc.) with no referral restrictions beyond Perry County residents.
Holiday Network program - a
collaborative program providing holiday assistance to families in Perry
County. The Holiday Network consists of churches, service agencies,
civil groups, businesses and individuals ensuring there are enough holiday
resources available for all Perry County families in need by avoiding
duplication of assistance.
The names on the Christmas Tree as soon as we can get it set up, in the Millerstown Moose Lodge Social Quarters, are for children who without our help would not see anything under the Christmas Tree this year.
Please take a name from the tree
when you are in the Lodge if you are able to provide a gift for a
child. The name tags on the tree are what is to be put on the wrapped
gift(s). The cost of the gift should be between $25 to
$30. Remember this will probably be the only gift this child will
receive for Christmas.
The gift tags can be signed out on the sheet on the cabinet by the tree.
Gifts need to be brought back to the Moose by December 13, 2013.
Thank you for your help and have a blessed Christmas.
